Materials required:-
1. Light colored plain cloth of any color
2. Chart paper
3. Embroidery thread and needle
Steps
1. Outline the cloth in the required size and embroider the same using bright colored threads. Choose rich patterns of your choice.
2. Stitch two ends together after reversing the cloth (embroidery will be inside now). Leave the top side open.
3. Cut the chart paper to fit inside the cloth ( to strengthen the bookmark )
4. After reversing the cloth ( embroidery outside ) push the paper inside
5. Stitch and close the top end.
6. Laminate it to avoid soiling
7. If necessary punch a hole at one end of the bookmark and pull a ribbon through it
( Instead of embroidery you can paint your favorite pictures on cloth using fabric paint and use it)
